Preserving Emirati Traditions
The sports in the UAE, like falconry and Arabian Saluki
hunting are an important part of the UAE culture and the working to protect the
traditional sports like horse, camel and dhow racing. These sports affect the process of
attracting tourists. In these days there
is a lack of awareness among the UAE community about UAE culture and we must try to change
their thinking about their culture because
it is considered part of their
identity and their country tourism. In the past, the UAE's population use
animals in their
living to hunt and for transportation. Parents and
schools have responsibility of teaching the children the meaning of culture and
traditional. The wild life hunting is controlled in a certain time a year so, it’s
changed from hunting to racing. Abu Dhabi focuses on heritage and culture, as a
part of UAE tradition is important as much as anything else.
